Honestly, I feel like her and thor were the only parts worth a damn. Kristen Stewart sucks..she has like 2-3 moods and that's it. I thought the little girl who played the younger version of her was better and she only had like 10 minutes worth of scenes

I agree, but my wife gets all pissy when I talk about how bad Stewart is as a actor. My wife loves those Twilight movies...

After seeing this last night I agree with most of you. It was meh... Tons of potential but left you feeling like they didn't fully live up to it. I though the script/dialouge was akward at moments.

they made a huge deal in the movie about the damn forest...and nothing ever happened in there. Way too much time spent in that fairy place, and the queen barely showed any of her "powers".
This movie could have been so much more but I feel like they not only half assed the casting...but also the directing.

It was decent. However:
1. For a Hero's journey epic the path of the journey was vague.
2. The destination of the journey was odd and at times unclear. How did William travel BACK to the other side of the dark forest (from the Duke's) so quickly to meet up with the Queens brother so he could go back in the direction of the Duke's castle hunting Snow White.
3. The journey is supposed to ESCALATE in danger, but the forest, the most dangerous place, was at the beginning and they skipped right through it.
4. We were given no proximity to the destination, no warnings of dire danger ahead to build suspense, no clear indication of where they were at times, ie in the snow? Ok where?
Other than the ambiguity it was decent.

This movie was terrible. Poor casting, worse writing. Full of plot holes and confusing pros. Do not see this movie. I was ready to leave after the queens first monologue where she screamed he whole time.

I am not one of the hip cool movie board snobs. I don't go in to movies expecting and looking for the worst so I can come here and bitch and nitpick them.
I go to the movies to be entertained.
I was pleasantly surprised by the movie. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Hemsworth was OK. Stewart was Stewart.
Charlize was awesome.

The movie is definitely not as bad as ppl make it out to be. It kept me entertained for the time I was there. But then again, I wasn't expecting some life changing performance from any of the cast like some folks in here.
My only quarrel is that there were not more large, awe inspiring creatures in the forrest.

I was jacked to see this movie and was expecting solely to be entertained, but it couldn't even do that; movie sucked bigtime.
-Thor and his Batman-esque voice got annoying as hell halfway through the movie
-No clue why they had to add in the dumb love triangle. I was just waiting for Team Archer and Team Huntsman chants.
-The Queen's brother was super gay, weird, douchey, awful. Every scene he was in made me uncomfortable.
-Twilight chick was actually one of the decent parts of the movie. I've never seen those movies, but people made it out like she was the devil reincarnated on screen. I was pleasantly surprised by her.
It was a 4/10. I almost fell asleep at parts.

This movie looks interesting to me. I am especially intrigued by Charlize Theron playing the villain here. She looked great in the preview. I might give it a shot.

4/10 is a good rating - the movie wasn't terrible, but it left much to be desired. And I too started closing my eyes in the woods scenes. They could've cut out 20 minutes of that stuff easily.
