Anybody still watching?
I stuck with it and it picked up a bit. Watched episode 7 last night.
It did do the most CW/ABC/CBS thing ever though. They decided to investigate Dave and one day later they have a task fore together and for some reason, John Leguizamo's character, who is not even a cop anymore, is basically leading the team. They decide to do a DNA test on the cigarette Calderone found and ol boy sends it off to testing and comes back AN HOUR LATER with the DNA test results
Come on Apple+, don't do the NCIS stuff.
Though the board is not going to like the black guy who kills people in fires is the sympathetic figure and white guy who burns up the chip isle in the grocery store is the big villain storyline.
Also, Dave's wife/soon to be ex-wife, is pretty hot.

I’m not fully caught-up, think I’m at episode 6, but I think this show is hilarious and so good. Making the inspector the arson was an obvious twist, but making him a total insecure loser wasn’t something I saw coming. The book that he’s writing absolutely kills me, been legit LOLing IRL.
Need to catchup this weekend. Hope it continues being good.

After watching the newest episode it’s clear both main characters are truly horrible people. The female cop deserves to go down just as much as the guy does.

Female cop is awful. His ex wife is smoking hot.

It’s interesting, but there’s something a little odd about every character. The story becomes more offbeat as it progresses. It has a couple of reveals that are surprising…

I kinda love that everyone is fricked. The main guy is an arsonist. His partner seems like a sociopath. His boss friend is getting money under the table. His ex partner shoots amateur porn. They’re all frickers.
I will say I was shocked by his partner accidentally killing the dude she was having the affair with. I also felt like that storyline had something missing. I kept waiting to see why she blew it all up. They start the show and it seems they’re all into each other before you find out it’s an affair. But then it seems like he’s genuinely into it, leaves his wife, and then the girl goes batshit?
Was this supposed to be some storyline of her just wanting to be able to manipulate him? Idk, felt unresolved

I think the main arsonist is based off a true story.

I think she’s a power hungry nut and she proved that earlier in the series when she illegally broke into that firefighters place and then damn near killed him.

Good lord the script was an absolute train wreck and totally went off the rails once the other arsonist was apprehended

Yeah. This show was all over the place. I won’t be watching a second season if they release one.

One of Apple’s worst strikeouts

It’s ok but Jussie Smollet’s sister sucks

That was about the worst finale of a show I’ve ever seen. The forest scene was outrageously bad

How did she survive going through windshield? Slow reveal of what he really looks like was ok. She's no different than him. All evidence they have will be explained away in court

It wasn't the she just survived. She got up without a scratch on her.

Of all the stupid shite in this show, this might have been the dumbest part.

horrible...im glad it's over, i invested the time so wanted to finish...can't stand how he made his voice sound in the role, the black guy's voice was annoying too...

I listened to a Mr. Ballen episode where he covers the true events that this show is based on. Is this worth a watch?

How did her brother get his own documentary on Netflix? Smollets are invincible.
