I’m fixing to get one of these 2 streaming services. I’m leaning to YouTube. What are the pros and cons? Who do you have and why do you like it?

I had Sling a few years ago for a couple months. Maybe it’s better now. For me, it was clunky and often lost connection. I have fast internet and no problems with any other streaming service. I like to flip around channels and Sling was too clunky and slow to make that possible.

YouTube TV

I went with it primarily because the YouTube video player just works.

I went with PlayStationVue. I’ve only had it for about a week but I’ve been very happy with it.

I had the same experience with it. Haven't used it in a few years, so maybe its better, but it wasn't very user friendly when I had it.

You guys have any issues while watching sports? Sometimes live sports just look different on a lot of streaming services to me. Internet speed isn’t an issue either.

Espn doesn’t do this but some of the network games playing football and soccer almost seem like they’re skipping frames or something. Can give me a pretty nasty headache. No issues with movies or shows, mainly just live streamed sports.

I haven't had a single problem watching sports on YouTube TV.

No buffering, no stuttering, no disconnection, nothing.

We switch to Youtube TV about 3 weeks ago and we really like it. Sling just seemed to try and nickel and dime you for extra channels, sports, etc. I've been wanting to try PS Vue, but am probably going to keep youtube tv for a few months until I do.

I went with Vue too. It’s been great. I was worried about live sports too, but it’s a non issue. I even think the picture looks better than dish. It’s saving me about $70 a month.

The trouble was finding a remote to control roku and soundbar, but the harmony hub came through.

I canceled Sling because it's terrible. Forever to load. Buffers, and eventually crashes and won't come back on during critical moments of major sporting events or live shows because of volume. Actually it was the last night of the NBA Finals I canceled it. Even during good times, it's very slow and buggy

I switched to YoutubeTV and it is perfect and great

YouTube TV is awesome. I'm using Sling for a couple of months to watch NFL Redzone channel, and would hate for it to be my exclusive live streaming service.
