Yeah this is like a MS Delta From Dusk til Dawn
I liked it. It’s different and refreshing .
Edit: there is a mid credits scene that is apparently substantial. I didn’t stay for it. Saw it on Reddit. So FYI for those seeing it this weekend

Looks promising.
Heard the script for the new Blade movie was strikingly similar, (about the same time period, vampires, etc.. ) so they canned it. Probably a good choice.

Negotiated with the wife to get away from the toddlers to see this sometime today. Pretty stoked. I loved From Dusk til Dawn as a teenager, so seeing some loose comps to that is intriguing.

Go watch. It's an original film that should be supported. I thought it was good, not great, but I commend Coogler for doing something that's unique.

This movie had a great look to it and I just looked it up and the whole thing was shot on 65 MM film.

Amazing cinemascore. It's definitely going to need strong legs, domestically, because it's not performing well internationally.
