The amount of people on this board willing to jump through hoops to justify the government cracking down on a private company for something their employee said is honestly not surprising but is kind of sad.
Kimmel never said he was MAGA not once did he say that, he said that in the aftermath all the right winger including Trump tried to immediately paint the guy as left wing before there was even a suspect. That's literally it, of course the usuals on here will just ignore that or hurl insults because that's all they have.
Meanwhile Brian Kilmade was on Fox the other day suggest the government involuntary lethally inject homeless people but all we got out of that was a half assed apology.

Except that's not what happened. Your confusing the timeline of events to make his comments seem less like a lie. None of this happened before a suspect was arrested.
Everyone knew the guy was a leftist after evidence of him being a gay antifa guy was revealed, then over the weekend the left lied about him being a MAGA type and Kimmel repeated that talking point on air.
The people spinning Kimmel's comments to mean "Over the weekend MAGA types were telling the truth" doesn't make any sense.

This is the result of being a martyr. Kirk didn't ask to be a Martyr. He would much rather be shopping with his daughter, or listening to his baby boy. I think it's a stretch that he's compared to mlk by people here. Many of us had no idea who he even was until South Park.
What happened to him was a tragedy. But I think his importance to the country is being overstated for political reasons.
