Those nuclear explosions were planned and they were planned by the Senator and Per Stensen.....hopefully Peter Gabriel made it

I'm betting the dinner underground is heavily laced with Vitamin D + provided by the good doctor. Everyone outside of Silo 1 will have no idea what happens by the next morning. The doctor, the Senator and Stensen are the culprits.

Literally nothing makes sense.
My original thought was this was a huge experiment on manipulating people and running studies. Very much like Fallout.
However, the mechanism for the environment is what is my issue. Nuclear weapons cant do that to the ground for 350 years (ex. Japan), disease wont, nanobots cant manipulate and not let a single green plant show up on a live video in the cafeteria…. Also the tree near silo 18 in the past was exactly where it is in the present.
My second theory was that it actually hasnt been 350 years but those mightve been the same people that originally went in. Solo from 17 dismisses that so really not sure how anything logical is destroying the landscape. We know the air is fine. They are just being gassed prerelease.
Maybe its just Atlanta that is bad off? No, vegetation wouldve come in similar to how grass grows back into bald spots in the ground.
Also the mines…. The rate they were going, they wouldve found something by now.

It’s sloppy in minor ways too.
They all are talking about erasing memories in front of raiders. Yet the IT chick had to lie about it to the other raiders on the stairs.
No raiders present when Robert is going outside. They should have just grabbed that IT chick and thrown her arse outside.
I imagine the distraction worked so at least now they can start getting some payback on silo 1 and start visiting the other silos.
At least I can forget about it after next week.

It’s not over yet. Nukes are only part of things. I’ll say no more, but folks have picked up on it. Huge clue was given when they discussed the security of the Silo and what couldn’t get in.

I hope we get some footage from Silo 1, more on the voice in server room being a human behind the curtain.
Did Robert actually die by the tree?
I have literally no earthly clue about why that guy was singing, the speech etc. The odd text.
Hoping the last episode is 90-100 minutes.

That was Peter Gabriel. He was practicing for a performance later in the day. Same for the Senator’s speech. That whole day was an event to unveil the silos to the public, albeit a very select group of the public. The text will be explained, but it was to show that his sister was not the one sending it. She would have finished the inside joke about their parents clawing frantically in their coffins.

No i understand that about nano bots but the whole grey goo means that it is large enough to see. It was visible in charlottes mission.
And if the “gas poison” is nano bots then why? Why introduce nano bots into the equation? There are plenty of gas poisons that could be used as a safeguard.
Also if the nukes are a necessary evil bc the nano bot clouds got loose, how did they know the exact day the nano bots got to Atlanta?

Not to mention….. silo 17 is exposed to the outside and they arent wearing protective gear inside
