They're all filler episodes. It's a comedy show, not a plot driven drama. It was funny as shite.

The show has a plot. It isn't what drives the show. It's a vehicle to make jokes. The concept of a "filler" show is meaningless. They showed another aspect of the tech industry. It was funny. That's it.

My guess is Erlich embarrasses himself and the VC in some hilarious and glorious fashion, and he has no choice but to leave Silicon Valley for good.

Could be. I hope they do something soon, because Erlich is becoming hard to watch. I liked him better when he was always in full bluster mode. Lately he's been more of a self-doubting sad sack, but I guess that's understandable after you've become Jian Yang's punching bag and blown so much money. The show's not really about "understandable," though.

I think they're going to make Erlich a billionaire and have him move away to an island somewhere.
And I think TJ Miller will have a couple guest spots on the show in the future for like 30 seconds.
