watching this show is like being trapped in a really bad version of Mr. Rogers’ Neighborhood, where people use profanity and straight women flirt with each other and constantly make unfunny lesbian jokes at one another.

Like the show or not, this is a pretty good description of what happens in the show.

The last episode got me when Derrick was helping ol boy learn how to put a car seat in the car.

"This is a core parent memory. Along with the first time you see your son get his it int he nuts with a baseball bat and trying not to laugh."

Derrick is an absolute gem.

Last night’s episode was a particularly funny one for Derrick.

Stoned Derrick is fantastic. However, I would have to be that stoned to put my kid in an unfinished apartment and tell them to use YouTube Tutorials- there’s a zero percent chance that works out

Yea he was great last night. Probably the most screen time he's gotten in an episode. When he walked up to the dummy and told him buddy they got your dick

Liz has typically been one of my least favorite character. Not that I disliked her but just not a favorite, but she has been really funny this season. Actually felt really bad for her there at the end of the episode. The kid actually is a doofus and she's a good om, just really bad timing of saying that.

I have a feeling that Paul might pass away this season. He gets married so his wife can have all his stuff when he passes. He's finally retiring. The conversation with Michael J Fox was a bit depressing because at the end Paul looked like he knew he wasn't going to be around much longer. Could be wrong, but I get a feeling this might be his last season.

Also, the soundtrack has been especially good this season. Last week ending on a great Bon Iver song and this week ending with an under the radar band Josiah and the Bonnevilles.

As much I as hate to admit it, I feel the same way. I was fine with him dying if this was the last season. It will be weird to watch the new season without him.

Loved it when Paul came into the break room singing the Raiders of the Lost Ark theme.

5 episodes into the first season and it’s great, I can’t believe I didn’t give this a shot earlier. Harrison Ford is outstanding and I even like Jason Segel in this.

Yeah this was me at first too. I’m not a Jason Segal fan so I avoided this show for a long time. Now I’m obsessed with it.

Yeah I kinda freaked out when he did that lol. I bet they had to talk Harrison Ford into doing that.

I was not a big fan of Ted Lasso. I got so sick of Ted literally not giving two craps about learning anything about the sport he was coaching

I disagree. I think Ted did learn a lot and was smart enough to defer to Nate and Beard when he needed help.

Yeah it was pretty alluded to that she would OD. Now I think Gaby will rethink the Jimmy Method and take Paul up on the offer. Jimmy moves to the East Coast to be with Paul’s daughter and Alice.

Maya didn’t kill herself bc of the Jimmy method. If Gaby rethinks anything, it’ll be Paul’s offer to run the practice because she realizes she isn’t cut out to personally handle legit trauma. Teaching, vet rehab, and trauma center spreads her too thin.

And Jimmy leaving Sofi so quick seems odd. But I agree it would make sense for season 4 if he moves to Connecticut. Just not sure how they get there exactly. Maybe Sofi goes too. Paul’s daughter is going to spend a lot of time working on her own marriage it seems.

Gaby inserted herself into her life outside of the office, then when Maya was spiraling she started calling Gaby and she ignored the calls. That's Jimmy method not Paul method.

This would be dumb. I think Paul's daughter was a one time thing and the whole season has been Jimmy accepting he can be ok away from Alice letting her live her life. That would ruin all those plot points and also just make season 4 wonky.

I thought early on that Paul was going to die at the end of the season but it looks like it's just a move. Don't see him returning for season 4.

I like Liz's character more this season than I ever have but am I the only one that is just constantly blown away from by the massive amounts of plastic surgery that she's had. i mean she looks like a freaking ventriloquist puppet with her mouth barely moving because her face is wrapped so tight. It's baffling.

Previous episode when Derrick was in the hospital for the heart attack. Gaby answered, but brushed her off asking if they could talk later. When Maya hung up, the shot showed she was into a bottle of wine and looked very dejected.

Multiple times she asked if she needed to talk. You can’t help people if they aren’t willing to help themselves.

It was setting it up for Gabby to blame herself some. Gabby even asked something like "Is this important?" or something similar before quickly getting off the phone. She was understandably brief seeing she was visiting a friend in the hospital but she's certainly going to blame herself some.
