Yeah, I think it looks really fun. The dragon looks great and love that as the big bad if that’s what it is
What also stands out is Affleck’s Batman being used so prominently in the promo materials and not showing Miller’s face

How bad did DC flop with it's big guns to make this one of the best franchises in the DCEU.
Not taking anything away from Shazam!, I just wish the other current crop of DC films were better.

I just read Zachary Levi’s book this week. It just came out.
I couldn’t have told you three things about him but now I’m a huge fan. He is a very cool down to earth guy that moved away from Hollywood to Texas in 2019 to get away from all the political BS

I’ve followed him since the Chuck days. Just seems like a really down to earth guy that hasn’t had the break he needs.
He was on Rogan and from the sound of it he had major mental issues after Chuck and Tangled that sidelined him pretty bad in the mid 2010s. Ended Chuck, did fantastic voice work in Tangled and got married in 2014
Then divorced in 6 months and was suicidal with no work coming his way by 2015-2016.
There’s not a lot of people in Hollywood I root for but he and Christ Pratt are some of the rare ones.

The only thing that ruins it for me is Shazam (Levi) is lacking the Wisdom of Solomon and his character is actually less mature than Billy Batson. A little too goofy for me. They are literally giving us Big instead of Shazam. Other than that it looks watchable but not valuable.

And how bad did Marvel screw up by giving their top franchises to other companies? These things work out. The audience usually benefits when the lesser franchises have to carry the weight.
