Had I not been following this thread, I probably wouldn't have watched through the credits.

Adora only poisoned Camille's sister. Amma killed the other's.

To anyone on here who’s read the book, is the ending pretty similar?

I didn't read the book but had looked into this earlier and no, the book has a lot more detail and the ending goes further into Camille's story after Amma is revealed to be the killer.

I kind of wish we'd have gotten to see a bit more into who her accomplices were and how they did it, moved the bodies, etc. But cutting to black like that was a pretty perfect ending.

did you keep watching into the credits?

I couldn't disagree more. I love when horror/thrillers end just like this one did. I was hoping it was going to end when she was holding the tooth. But I liked it even better when it ended with "Don't tell momma", lol. I thought it was great.

As far as the accomplices, we got that from the credits. And the book explains that a little more. The mom was not an accomplice. This was teenage girls loosing their minds. As far as whether or not the mom knew is complete speculation and opinion. Since the mom was hell bent on keeping things perfect and her daughter proper, I imagine she would not have been happy if her daughter was doing this crazy shite with her friends (even though she was crazy herself lol).

Damn. What a punch to the gut to end a wildly entertaining series. I think they nailed this show. Great stuff!

Yeah but that wasn't really a great explanation of how everything happened.

Why do you need a great explanation? I don’t even think we needed the montage after the credits. “Don’t tell Momma” would have been a perfect way to end it completely for me. Leave the “how” up to our imaginations. But I thought it was a great ending to a great series.

What was the deal with the black lady writing something on her hand

quote: Also, Sheriff Vickery coming to Adora to tell her "Camille is dangerous and Amma is in danger".

That’s not what he said, and I think it was clearly on purpose that he didn’t say it that way. He said “one daughter’s in danger and the other is dangerous.” We assumed he meant that Camille is the dangerous one and Amma in danger, but maybe not.

Turns out we were certainly right about that.

Great series. I would really like for more shows to do stuff like this. Just complete, comprehensive one-off series where there's a well-crafted story arch that doesn't drag on or get convoluted with multiple seasons.

That was Amma's new friend. Only thing I could make out was "text mom".

That just raised way too many questions for me that will never be answered. It’s just a tiny bit frustrating and distracting from how great this show was. Amy Adams is fricking awesome.

I lost my boner for Amy Adams after this show. She looked awful

About 15 lbs overweight and tore up

I need her to get back in acting shape

I went back and paused it. It read "Call Mom."

I disagree. The book is very similar to the series ending. Adora goes down in the final chapter, and you don't find out Amma is the killer until the Epilogue.

It does make you wonder if maybe part of Adora poisoning Amma was because she knew what she was and she wanted to control her.
