What's the tie in with K-Pop?

Asian ratings.
Isn't that show pretty popular here, as well?
Either way, I think it's been pretty funny. Got it on until I flip over to HotD

Been a while. Is it still full of ridiculous lies?

NatGeo had shark week all last week. Was that from a previous season?

I'm no shark expert, so I can't speak to the accuracy of what's presented, but the fake "dialogue" between divers that have regulators in their mouths is what drives me nuts. At least they've switched to full masks the past couple years.

Shark Week is on Discovery, not Nat Geo.

You don't remember things like the megaladon special, where actors pretended to be real scientists and the 'this is bullshite' disclaimer zipped by the screen too fast to read?
They've done other bullshite specials as well. It became a joke pretty fast but it's actually kind of insidious.

Nat Geo's is Shark Fest. It's on for a couple of weeks.

Guess I missed that one

The Discovery Channel aired a brief, easy-to-miss disclaimer during Megalodon: The Monster Shark Lives in August 2013. It stated that certain events and characters were dramatized, and that none of the featured institutions or agencies approved or were affiliated with the program

I want ORCA week. They're the real A-Holes of the ocean.

That killed it for me.

Invasion of the Mega Sharks was pretty good. Seems like they have dialed back the extra drama a good bit. Not sure of all of the episodes are like that.

They really are.I've never been so mad at a show in my entire life as as when I watched Netflix's version of Planet Earth and they showed a momma whale swimming protecting her newborn baby that she carried for over two years(!!) from Orcas. The Orcas just chase them for miles knowing the baby will tire out and then attack/eat it when the momma can't protect it any more.
I was legit pissed after watching that.

One of the saddest things I have ever watched. I couldn't be a camera operator on a nature doc like that. I would want to intervene somehow and save the poor baby.
