Next on my list along with Blackbird.

Slow Horses and Dark Matter
Really enjoyed both. Another I really liked was For All Mankind. Masters of the Air was good as well

Apple TV is top-notch. I'm kinda bored watching S2 of Silo, but between Severance, Shrinking, Ted Lasso, Bad Monkey, Disclaimer, I just started Foundation, I need to hit up Slow Horses and Dark Matter, quality stuff.
There is the quality over quantity aspect, but if you're new or haven't watched in a while,. highly recommended. Same thing like real HBO.
Remember fatkid trying to say that stuff on Apple TV was basically everything relegated from Netflix and HBO

This is basically the only Apple+ show I can't get behind. I had to quit because it was so corny and outside of Rebecca Ferguson, some of the worst acting I've ever seen.

Slow Horses and Dark Matter,
Slow Horses is great and Dark Matter is one of the best sci fi shows in recent memory for me. The final episode of the season got a little messy but overall a very fun ride.
Black Bird, Mythic Quest and The Offer (mini series on the story of the making of The Godfather) are also must watches imo. Also enjoyed Sunny a good bit. Was pleasantly surprised with it.

Apple TV + has been the overall surprise. I can't think of another network that has more quality over quantity ever. These are all of the shows and movies that I have watched so far on my free trial. I have yet to watch something bad. That would never happen on netflix or amazon prime etc.
Blackbird
Tetris
Shrinking
Ted Lasso
Drops Of God
Severance
Acapulco
Bad Monkey
Hijack

quote:I've continued to watch. S2E9 wasn't bad and one episode remaining in S2. But the journey has been difficult to wade through. Very slow paced and bad acted. The premise is better than the product.

quote:I watched Sunny. I liked that premise also. The first few episodes pulled me in, then it kind of was just "okay" to me. Not to spoil, but I absolutely hated the ending and "reveal". They didn't earn that 180 at all. I can't stand when there is zero foreshadowing and writers decide to have a character do a 180 for no reason other than to shock their audience. Not a fan.
Also enjoyed Sunny a good bit. Was pleasantly surprised with it.
As for the other shows, I plan to watch them all. Apple TV+ is by far the best content and the shows I haven't seen yet, I trust certain opinions on this board, so I know I'm in for a good time.

I have tried to get into this show on two different occasions and it just doesn’t click with me. I want to like it, but can’t seem to. I usually like most anything, so it’s odd that everyone loves this but I couldn’t care less about it.
sometimes it be like that
I hated Succession and everyone I know who likes stuff I like loved it

Has anyone read the Lexington Letter? It's about a 15 minute read and includes a letter from a former Lumon refiner who explains what she thinks she's actually doing. There's also a Lumon MDR Orientation Booklet, which she claims that "answers are there if you look".
You can read the whole thing here

Severance: The Lexington Letter, or simply The Lexington Letter, is a free companion e-book written by the creators of Severance. It was originally made available as a free download through Apple Books. While the events it describes are not confirmed to be concurrent with the events of the series, it does serve to flesh out the world of Severance and to provide more details on several elements of the show. It is considered canonical.
