“Severance” - Does it ever pick up?

I’m three episodes in and debating whether to keep going. There are brief snippets where I feel like the story is going to grab me and take off but it’s just not happening. Any thoughts on this series? At this point I can take it or leave it.

If you don't like that show, then just give up on television. It's one of the best shows to come out in the last few years

And a related question for those wanting to chime in.
Should I continue with “Severance” or watch “Barry” or “The Terminal List”? Those were the other two I was considering when I started.

Not a huge fan of being confused for 2/3 of every episode. Do I need to rewatch for clarity or wade through and hope things clear up?

Yes it picks up in episode 4 or 5, I can’t remember but keep going.

Just keep at it, it picks up. It's not action-packed or anything like that but the show is phenomenal. Also, Barry is one of the best pieces of television of late

I was going to bail there too. Then I heard that it’s the best show of the year, so I kept watching. Worth it.

I was in the same boat and ready to give it up after episode 3 or 4, but my wife wanted to press on and I’m glad we did. Around episode 5 it picks up… and it picks up hard.

When you have a cast that includes John Turturro, and he's not the main attraction, it's a good show. And Patricia arquette never disappoints. Also, Adam Scott has proved himself. He is the new Paul Rudd AKA plays the miserable white guy perfectly
