Any time I felt anywhere near this bad about any part of my life, I got in the car and drove at least 90 mph on a two lane highway. Nearly had a wreck every time. That always gave me an appreciation for whatever life I had at the time. Don't allow yourself to hate life. It's very unproductive, and a waste of time. Go sit in the "chemo infusion room" at a hospital so you'll see people with real problems. Find fun hobbies or something please.

I know I come across as a condescending a-hole many times. This thread and posts you've made prior just reek of shite that bothers me. People that talk more than they listen is easily a trigger for me.

That said, see the olive branch.

Jesus this thread drips of condescending know-it-alls from all corners.

Kid made an observation about a good movie that relates to his current point in life.

It's a better OP than 90% of mindless shite that gets posted here.

I can't believe you watched this movie and the message you took out of it was social media, even more so than consumerism?

Social Media is consumerism to an extreme

Men who are disregarded from society and have nothing to lose will eventually stop giving a frick about being “nice” to people. Why should I have to “fit in” when my generation is nothing but a bunch of materialistic, narcissistic, self-absorbed assholes who care about nothing but getting likes on an Instagram post?

You got the wrong message from the story, bud.
