Ok I know I'm going to get killed for this but wife and I watched this earlier and we were both kinda "meh" about it. Very slow and bland

All I've heard for a year was how this may be the best documentary ever.

I was abut to say. I've never heard of Waiting for Sugarman. Must be the sequel.

It was ok.

Best documentary I have seen is Undefeated. The one about Memphis high school football.

It's ok. The Cartel is much better. While WFS reveals the teacher unions role in blocking reform, the Cartel goes more into depth of the machinery surrounding it, and the somewhat invisible administrative cost surrounding each school district, even fathom salaries paid to people and positions that don't exist. The money just disappears.

I don't watch many documentaries but my favorite is King of Kong. If they ever made a live action movie out of it, Ben Stiller would be absolutely perfect.

You probably don't dig the music.

The doc is only okay after the reveal...

But if you like the music its a terrific watch.

My bad, I didn't know there really was a documentary called "Searching for Sugar Man", I thought you were demolishing "Waiting for Superman".

This is almost better than the guy asking about "Paper View," except the jokes on us.

I wanted to like it more than I did, but I still enjoyed it.

Incredible story none the less.

I really enjoyed it. I just checked out his website, looks like he is currently in the middle of a tour in Europe.
