I honestly don't see this going over well but the S9 debacle probably influences that. I hope this has a planned beginning and ending instead of trying to create another hit show. Sometimes lightning needs to stay in the bottle

If you go back and watch season 9 it's better than anything on tv right now. It's not that bad. It's not on par with season 1-8 but it's still a decent season.

Season 9, on subsequent watch, without expectation of it being anything like 1-8, has its moments. I HATED it when it came out. I've gained, if not an appreciation of it, an acceptance.

I actually liked S9 after the first few episodes with JD. You just had to ignore that it had anything to do with the scrubs show. It wasn't anything better than a 6-7 out of 10 show but it was enjoyable.
ETA: The real Scrubs finale is one of the GOATs so if they hadn't tried to brand the med school season as Scrubs I think it would've been better perceived.

I did like some of the new characters, but it just felt odd.
Like they knew it only had a limited run. They weren’t really sure what to do with them.

Hopefully they reign in the Turk and JD just a bit. As sitcoms often do it went past the point of remotely real, from a bromance to basically gay

If he has an alter, he would be in here. He started all of the Scrubs threads. No way he would be able to stay out of here for 4 pages without posting and telling us how the original ending was the best ending of all endings ever.

Doctor Cox and Jordan had 2 kids, Jack & Jennifer Dylan (JD) Cox.
Likely will gloss over this stuff and focus on the rest of the story.
