The podcast episode on their blackface really turned me off. It was just pathetic. 3 dudes , including a black guy, who apparently were not woke when the series was made but are so enlightened now that they all agree that what they did was somehow wrong.

I liked it when it first started when they actually talked about the episode and the behind the scenes of making the episode. Feel like now the talk about the show for 20 minutes and then have inside jokes and how woke they are especially the producer

I have now listened to all of the episodes.
I don’t understand the “woke” critique at all, it seems to me that they tried extremely hard to not get involved in politics on the show. Yes they had the black face episode, but I feel like they had to address that with everything going on, I think it was smart to do it in one podcast and so it is all over.
I actually think that for a podcast with two Hollywood stars, they do a really good job of not talking about politics and keeping it focused on their silliness and the show. I have really enjoyed it and look forward to each episode.

Loved it until they went woke & jumped all in with BLM.
So not what the show was about & really a buzz kill for the fun vibe I was having with the podcast.

I don’t get people saying this, they have not done that at all, they had the one episode addressing the blackface stuff, which just for the sake of Zach Braff’s career was smart, otherwise they have stayed away from politics almost completely

Episode 119 - My Old Man with Sarah Chalke
At the end of the podcast,( @ about the 5:30 mark left in the show ) they talked with the guy *Trevor , who was behind the Scrubs Wiki. Turns out he's a YUGE Lefty, and his * dad was on the news for one of the protests, mocking FOX news for hoping to get one type of comment, but he TOTALLY flipped in on them and said something different... it was so jarring and utterly OFF TOPIC that it really bummed me out. With the covid crap, the lock down and the general b.s. going on w/ the riots, this podcast had been a true bright spot for me to enjoy.
This ruined it for me.

So a guest had a story you didn’t agree with at the end of the show and it totally ruined it for you
They are Hollywood actors, if you didn’t know they were liberal leaning you are pretty dense, they make a few comments every 2-3 episodes but 99% of the show they aren’t mentioning politics.
Hell they’ve openly discussed their desire NOT to talk politics because that’s not why people are watching the show. They went on the fricking View to promote the pod and actively avoided politics.
They are Hollywood actors, if you didn’t know they were liberal leaning you are pretty dense, they make a few comments every 2-3 episodes but 99% of the show they aren’t mentioning politics.
