Dropped today and well yeah some people aren’t going to like the twist in this. On third episode now and everything is going in a very different direction but has been good so far at least it’s not just a retelling of the movie or comic

It's not a "twist" if we can guess what it is without anyone saying a word or seeing the show ourselves.

read the twist and i am a little disappointed
I was definitely ok and hoping for just an animated version of the comics.
But i’ll probably watch.

I think this is where the biggest problem will be since people were likely looking for an expansion where the movie didn’t cover. But it’s an original story told by the creator

actually a really great watch.
It is a fun parallel jaunt and has an honestly happier ending
