“Scareface” - not a good movie

Come at me bro!!!
I watched it the other day for the first time in years, and I realized it sucks.
The storyline jumped too fast, with no story of between when he started working for Frank, to him killing Frank, except the one scene in Bolivia. Then the story jumps from him taking over, to him getting busted by the feds. They just show him buying shite with his money, no story of him making it.
The best scenes were at the encampment, chainsaw, him killing Frank, and the car bombing.
They wasted too much time on the restaurant scene, him trying to get Michelle P, and they horrible scene at the end.
I just wanted to punch Gina in the face because her character was so bad.
Plus, Pacino’s acting was horrible. He tried way too hard. He was 1000x better in “Carlito’s Way”.

Hearing Bill Burr’s story of his mother taking him to see it when he was a kid thinking it was a family movie is my favorite thing about Scarface

These things are subjective but I thought Scarface was pretty good myself. Sure, parts of it may have been a little campy but the overall tone of the movie fit well into the times it was made

I wouldn't say that Scarface is bad, but I will say that it hasn't aged well. Then again, that serves as a nice time capsule for that era of the 80's, with the synth music and shite.
