I'm fairly certain there was only one graduation episode of SBTB, and Tori wasn't in it. Someone will have to show me evidence to convince me otherwise.
ETA: from the SBTB wiki page:
quote:
The final episode of the series aired in prime time on May 22, 1993. The episode, which featured the cast graduating from high school, was filmed before Thiessen and Berkley left the show, and no mention is made of Tori Scott. The series finale was followed by a special airing of the Saved by the Bell: The College Years pilot episode, setting up the next phase of the characters' lives.

the influx of shitty bump-bots on TD lately is out of control.

Gotta agree. Looking back, most kids' shows were understandably weak sauce - but this show was just terrible.
I know this is an old/bumped thread, but I felt the need to respond to this 8 year old post and offer to meet this dude at the nearest Sonic to hash out why SBTB is not "terrible."
Also, this thread is weird because there was only one graduation episode (the one with Swan Pond). So the OP should've stayed in his lane as well.

I seriously doubt the show gave a rat's arse about continuity.

how about Zack, Screech and Mr Belding moving from Indiana to California together? Isn't that way weirder?
That, and Zack had a tendency to murder newcomers.
That was also weird.

You can still see Tori in a lot of commercials to this day.

some station was running a marathon yesterday, I was flipping back and forth between bball and this. I caught some of the Malibu Sands episodes.
Damn Kelly was something else in those. Haha.
Also, I forgot how much of a blowhard Jessie was. Stupid bitch was talking shite to Slater about riding ATV's and a women can do it, then proceeds to drive directly into the ocean.

I've been loving the marathon that station (don't even remember which one) had on all weekend. We have a little one that demands constant attnetion but I recorded a ton of them to watch later.

I found myself watching this more yesterday than basketball. The Malibu Sands episodes were so bad, yet so great.
At one point, the kitchen staff is going to go on strike. Who leads negotiation talks? -- Jessie. Then the kitchen staff does a sit in, the gang takes over and the staff see how bad they are doing. Kitchen staff says, ahh f it, lets help the kids and forget about the raise.

Yeah the beach ones are great.
One snippet I caught yesterday was when zack is on the outs with Stacy and he's torn up about it so he goes over to the girls' house in the middle of the night to hash it out. The girls have the classic, "whoa boy, this is gonna be a LOOOONG night! Who wants to put a coffee on?" reaciton. Then literally not more than 100 seconds later they've talked it out, solved zack's problem, and he's out the door again

I thought Stacey agreed to pay them more without her dad's permission

Shoot, I think you are right. I think I turned back to bball during that. High schoolers running labor talks. Haha

Also thought it was humorous during the relay race on the beach between lisa and slater. Lisa has always been a ritzy fashionista with zero desire to do any type of work more than lifting a nail file. Slater is a classic jock, star of the football team and captain of the wrestling team. They could not be more polar opposite when it coems to physical competition. Yet slater looks like a baby giraffe on the obstacle course. He's catapulting himself in opposite directions off the balance beam, can't crawl through a tube, constantly falls face first in the sand.
I mean it's a funny trope and I'm not hating on it at all, it was just funny that the badass star athlete would be SO BAD at such a simple activity.

It always bugged me that in the middle of the jesse/kelly/tori paradox they decided the stick a random episode from what looked like the gangs sophmore year and pass it off as though they were a senior class.
Slater's pet lizard dying episode. Screech looks young playing the piano next to jesse singing oh artie boy. Then next epidsode is that old version of him in the Tori paradox, where they are writing a new school song

I keep laughing at these beach episodes. They needed a sponsor for the ATV race. Screech ask Lisa for her family to sponsor him she says "My family wouldn't sponsor you for medical research"
1 second later, Zach walks up. Lisa says do you have a sponsor, no? Well the Turtle family would be honored to sponsor you. All right in front of Screech haha.

My favorite part about that is that Slater falls in the initial run (with flippers on), then falls at the limbo bar, then falls in the turn, then falls off the balance beam, then stumbles through the tunnel, then sprints over the chair jumps. And after all of that, even though Lisa was flawless through the entire race (outside of stumbling a little at the limbo bar) he only loses by about half a second.
And it's E! that has the SBTB marathons. They do it several times a year, and I watch them every time. Gotta keep my useless SBTB trivia knowledge up somehow.
