Simple answer, because AC is a pu$$y and a quiter and Dan Gable didn't let pu$$ies and quiters into the Iowa wrestling program.

Was the Needick vs Screech match a sanctioned high school matchup? Or was it just a bet? I forgot.
Because I know Albert came in during the match and took over for Screech and got the W, but that doesn't seem like it should fly for a legit win.

It's also possible that after his dad came to terms with him not wanting to go into the military, that they forged a stronger bond and AC ultimately wanted to be closer to home so his dad could come and watch him wrestle. Of course, he almost pussed out and quit the team in college because he was "last best" on the team.

It was legit. But one thing was for damn sure...Screech wasn't even on the wrestling team. So whoever was officiating that event should've been immediately fired.
