They're not doing this. RDJ isn't returning. Besides, the original Avengers story is over. It has already concluded.
End the shared universe. Make great individual movies with their own stories.
Or just do proper FFour and Xmen adaptations of their best comic book storylines over the next decade and print money again.
But we all know that won't happen.

That's incredibly stupid, even for a fake rumor.
To be fair, phases 4 and 5 have also been incredibly stupid.

DC and Marvel might need to take a break from these movies
Both are in disaster mode
If Tom Holland quits as Spider Man you might as well shut it down and start over at some point

The dumbest decision Disney has made is to plan shows like Agatha Harkness, Echo, Ms Marvel, She Hulk, etc that absolutely no one wants over the potential gold mine of X-Men and F4. Why those projects weren't fast tracked as soon as Disney got them is a mystery. The character of Storm alone is everything woke Disney wants in a character without changing anything. You can have a comic accurate strong, black, queen that pleases the woke cult and the comic nerds. You've got top tier villains like Magneto, Dr Doom, sentinels, and Mr Sinister. So far the Fox deal has been a huge waste of money.

Those shows don’t need a grand introduction like the F4 and the mutants, Marvel is taking time to introduce these characters they’re not rushing it

Their best bet is the build X-men and FF in a separate universe not involving the MCU we know.
They can avoid the whole “where were they question” and the origin story problems they’d have if they introduced some of the older types as young mutants.
Knock those out of the park, earn back some fan credit, and then consider the least lame way to have it collide with the MCU.
That collision can be what they spend the next 5 to 10 years building towards. Added bonus is that in 5 to 10 years, having iron man or someone like that show up somehow would actually have some hype/excitement.

how many xmen movies did fox make?
I think they just wanna let that pass for a bud before trying to replace Jackman

MCU already has introduced the concept of mutants in Ms Marvel so that’s not happening

They need to rewind to BEFORE End Game, which was just a Captain America day dream.
End Game was a fun movie but had a lot of stupid plot holes even for a Marvel movie.
Infinity War was the best closure to a saga series imaginable. The writers should have just let Thanos win.

That's why it was so female lol it's basically the she-hulk ending on a massive scale. No we don't actually suck it was all a super meta bit.

Then why couldn't Tony Stark, et al?
Because like Rocket said, Stark was “only a genius on Earth, pal”
Rockets is by far the smartest character we’ve met so far

You don't need a grand entrance for X-Men. There were early rumors that Storm would appear in Black Panther 2 and Rogue would be the villain in Captain Marvel 2. You can find ways to fit a few of them into existing properties and build to the X-Men movie where Charles puts all these characters together in a team.
F4 probably do need to be introduced in their own movie though.

No. That would imply using women in leading roles was a mistake. That can not happen. If anything the snap would reboot to show that it was an all female avengers team that fought the real thanos and progress from there.
They could AI the death of the other phase 1-3.

Lol they will NEVER do that because it would mean admitting they fricked up. See: Star wars.
If they can't dig the hole any deeper then theyll just reboot it like comics themselves have done when they get stagnant or finish some epic story.
DC comics has rebooted like 4 or 5 times in the last 12 years or so

I mean, they could also just be like, “here’s another Iron Man Movie,” and I’d watch it.

I would love to see 6 episode Disney+ series of Captain America returning all of the infinity stones to their original timelines. Seems like that could be fun.

Stark is actually still alive.
While I'd love to have Stark (& Cap) back, that would totally ruin Tony's perfectly-written/poetic 180 degree arc from 2008s self-absorbed "I am Iron-Man" to 2019's self-less sacrifice "I am Iron-Man".
