That would probably be the most frustrating show ever

Yep, the guy was a total loser in life. Cheated at cards, ran up gambling debt, hid out to keep from having the shite beat out of him or worse, killed over his debts, screws over friends by running up their debt........the list of stupid shite is long for that character.

As I side note did anyone besides me not realize that Grama is the same guy who played Jackie Aprile in the Sopranos? I did not realize that until very recently.

Chiming in to say this is a great movie with an absolutely horrible tag line

“Trust everyone... But always cut the cards”

That’s really really bad

Who cares about Mol. Bigger question is why I wasn’t Mike banging the absolute shite out of Famke? To me it’s the only plot hole in the movie. What 24-year-old guy is turning that down?

Mol was pot roast, Famke was prime rib

I think the plan was to get Mike sucked in and trapped by KGB, so Teddy told Granma to buy out worm's debt and pull Mike in. Teddy was then supposed to wipe Mike out in the card game and Mike was on the hook forever. ALso dont underestimate Teddy and Granma's jealousy of Mike's opportunities and teddy's huge ego.

That was probably the long-term play, but they still got their money back. Why would Gramma be killed?

... in thug world, if plans don't go EXACTLY as planned someone pays a price ...

Gramma would have been kneecapped for sure, at least
(maybe doubled kneed)

... not killed ...

So in the movie Worm runs. Does Teddy's reach really extend that far? If Worm runs to, say, Spokane, WA does Teddy ever find him or even have any reach there? Probably not. Worm will never get to go home but at least he's alive.

Worm would be found --- make no mistake
the dude was an addict
all it would take to flush him out would be a game he thought that he would score big
Doesn't matter what corner of the planet you are on
If you owe a Russian
They will find you and your arse is theirs FOREVER
