If you think about it this is pretty much exactly how this dirt poor family from Illinois would have ended up.

I'm hoping the political stuff was just an intro and they'll get into actual storylines

Glenn Martin Christopher Francis Quinn (May 28, 1970 – December 3, 2002) was an Irish actor. While he was best known for his portrayal of Mark Healy on the popular '90s family sitcom Roseanne, Quinn also amassed a large fan base for his portrayel of Doyle, a half-demon, on Angel, a spin-off series of Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
On December 3, 2002, Quinn's body was found at a friend's home in North Hollywood, California. An autopsy found that Quinn had died as the result of an accidental heroin overdose.
In the months leading up to his death, Quinn had reportedly been struggling with homelessness and drug addiction. His issues with substance abuse started in 1997, with the breakdown of his parents' marriage and, unable to maintain sobriety, he was eventually bought out of a nightclub he'd owned, called Goldfingers in Los Angeles, California, for begging money from customers and causing fights.

I was just thinking they look about what you'd expect someone who grew up in those circumstances to look like - rough.

I think they’re using the political stuff to be topical and be a source of conflict that they’re going to resolve by showing each side being loving and understanding of each other

I actually like the way they are approaching it too. And Sarah Chalke is hotter now than she was on the show

so in the past 20 years they haven't changed one thing in that house?

I honestly think it's a pretty good portrayal of how a family would handle these differences. If a strange man wears a dress it'll catch me off guard, if my brother wears a dress and someone gives him a funny look I'm gonna be pissed

I’m enjoying it so far. Chuckled a few times. Dan still cracks me up.

The original Becky actress is brutal.

I thought it was pretty good. Both Becky's turned out pretty good and Darlene didn't get fat.

did you expect her to? she's been all over tv after Roseanne 's original run
