Ah, thanks. Have they released/leaked the names for most of the characters yet? I'm curious who Mads Mikkelsen plays in the film. There were rumors that he would be a younger version of Lor San Tekka, Max Von Sydnow's character character in TFA.

It's "A Star Wars Story". It's literally set between the events of Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope. It's the same Death Star. So not Episode 8 in the way you're describing it. More like 3.5.

So just a couple of points after rewatching
I at first thought the Imperial in white was Grand Moff Tarkin but after thinking about that it can't be. The time line doesn't fit.
Second, Disney has managed to create some iconic shots between these two movies: the first being the crashed Star Destroyer and TIEs coming out of the sun in TFA and now the Star Destroyers and Death Star being fitted out. Also is there anything more bad arse than an Imperial Star Destroyer? You can tell it was designed and built to be a warship, nothing as weak as those Federation ships

I'm already seeing a ton of people complaining about another death star. I understand it's a part of this story, but I still think it was incredibly dumb to include it in TFA.

They say she's been on her own since the age of fifteen. Not that she is fifteen.
What does it matter if she's a woman or not though? I have yet to see a reasonable explanation for why it's so egregious to have a female heroic lead in two out of eight movies in a series.
