In that gif it looks like he kills Apollo with a left hook but the in between close up cut away looks like he's getting hit with his right hand. Am I seeing it wrong or is that bad editing?

Rocky V didn't happen. I refuse to admit it.
In fact, when my wife got me the box sets for Christmas like 8 years ago, I immediately took out Rocky V and threw it in the trash.
