Just because of the comedy potential in her last name, cartoons, particularly, and other satire-based comedy always seemed to find a way to make a reference. I mean, as a kid, I knew the name well before I knew who she was.
She had a very high profile in her day, akin to that of the Gabors, but she also had a solid body of work. RIP
