Yeah he was and this show has had its dark moments but that whole hospital scene seemed off. Is he going to be crippled forever? That would be a major wtf and not needed. And as a whole, this season doesn’t really have much of a compelling storyline. First two episodes were strong though.

It felt weirdly rushed and disorganized. And it got really dark in a couple spots (I realize it did this in Vice Principals too, but it felt more appropriate there).

My frustration with the show is they refuse to let the Gemstone siblings develop any character growth. They continue to be nasty and mean to one another like they were in season 1. It seems like a corner was turned in the season 3 finale, but now they have just reverted back to themselves. The season 3 finale would have been a perfect place to end the series.

One thing I love about this show is all of the little subtle funny things. One that caught my eye last night was when Judy was pushing BJ out to the car and just let him go to roll right past it.

episod wasn't great but I loved when Simkins asked Jesse how many homos were in his family, and Jesse fired back "Two. Same amount as the number of dead parents in yours."
