If we're going to go for broke, then we just go all the way to 50. Keep it that way for all of the decades.

Did you get the email with the formula? Whether it messes up the math or not, I'm not sure.

Yeah I did. I will look into it. At first glance though, my formula idea was a little more simplified and would work regardless of how many we voted for. I'll send you something.

I think we should stick with 20 or 25. 50 is just too big a list per voter, as I know my 30-50 order would be essentially random.

i'm still not happy with my ballot, and I will change it. I clearly need to add some movies and change the order of my ballot.

And more people need to vote for 4 months, 3 Weeks, and 2 Days or Let the Right One In. Just campaigning a little bit for those two. Show some love for the great foreign films.

Next foreign for me (and it still may take the place of Crouching Tiger) was Spring Summer Fall Winter and Spring. Great movie.

I thought it was an extremely powerful film, but it's conclusion was so stark that I don't have much reason to revisit or promote it. Kinda like Dancer In The Dark or Lilja 4-Ever.

Looks like I'm the only one that thinks House of Flying Daggers > Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. Thought it had better visuals and a deeper story. Granted CTHD did it first, but I think HOFD perfected it.

Also for those looking for a good list to pull from, I am using wikipedia and going year by year

Good call. I had been only using "best of" lists, but when I started going through the complete lists, I noticed a few that I love, such as A Knight's Tale, Frailty, Whole Nine Yards, etc (and that's just partially through 2001).

Not sure where, or if they will end up on the list, but I had not even considered them previously.
