Things are simply not allowed to appeal to men anymore. Every single thing that has a primarily male base is being forced to change because masculinity has been deemed a disease that needs curing.
Whether it be movie franchises, video games, sports, pro wrestling, comic books EVERYTHING must be feminized, the people doing this are basically religious extremists.
This is an intentional subversion.

Why would any woman even care if they were considered a Bond girl or that they were seduced by him? Its not really that big of a deal to be seduced by a GOATesque pimp. Thats a respectable one night stand.
A girl I knew got with him, and was in our kitchen the next morning. She apologized to me for being there. I told her it wasn't her fault she got seduced by the devil.

I feel like they’ve been saying that about every Bond girl for 20-30 years. “This one is different!”
Bond got married in OHMSS to Tracy, who was arguably the most independent and strong willed Bond girl ever....and she took his last name.
I was worried that this movie would try to be an over-correction for the #MeToo stuff and almost be apologetic for past Bond movies.

Hell, my wife is an artist. I didn't think she should take my last name. Plus it is a pain in the arse if you're not getting kids - my ex did take my last name and asked if it was okay to just keep it to avoid the paper work.

Agreed. Those people should probably not claim to "know" Bond's character or complain that Connery is spinning in the grave.
Also, the Craig Bond's whole arc comes from his love of Vesper Lynd. Her shadow has never left. It doesn't seem a stretch that he would settle down with somneone after finally getting over her death.
