What happened to clean family movies? Back in the 80s, we would always go to a movie rental place and get a pg movie for everyone to watch. It was a great time!
Do they even make pg movies anymore?
The only movies that are clean anymore are "some" kids movies and Christian based films.

20 years ago, you didnt have to give a single thought to any movie your kids saw

15 years ago, you just had to check the ratings for any movie your kids saw

10 years ago, you could no longer trust the ratings for any movie your kids saw

now 95% of all movies is all kid porn and grooming and woke BS propaganda, the story and what happens in the movie, is less important to the director than corrupting your kids minds is

i wouldnt even trust a christmas show on today to not be anything but pushing the diddling of kids and the alphabet propaganda

You could move to Utah.

They have "Clean Screen" rentals where the movies are edited and 50 minutes long.

Wait, the owner was busted for filming porn in the back room.

So, I guess not.

Grown Ups is a perfect example of a good, clean family comedy but (prob like you) people ragged it so hard as being cheesy and not raunchy enough.

I’m sure our parents thought the family movies were pretty cheesy back in the day. We just didn’t know any better.

99% of the PG movies that you grew up with are available for you to rent for your kids. There are more PG movies being made today than any previous era. They’re just spread out over different avenues of distribution.

I was a kid in the 80's There were plenty of PG movies that made me blush while watching with my parents.

I remember talking my mom into taking me to see Irreconcilable Differences because I had some little kid crush on Drew Barrymore. My mom bout dislocated her shoulder trying to get her hands over my eyes when Sharon Stone's tits popped out.

But, it was safe for kids to watch. Didn't have to worry about wokeness, sex, language.

I remember watching Night of the Living Dead as a kid. Scared the hell out of my young self.
