My biggest takeaway from the movie is that Andie Macdowell is in it and she gave a surprisingly good villain performance. Didn’t know that she had those acting chops in her.

It was fun. Def Cabin in the Woods feel. Wasn’t quite expecting that ending.

I’m smitten with Samara. Love her charisma.

She’s the modern day scream queen I guess.

She was in The Babysitter which is on Netflix. Haven’t seen it but waiting till October and will watch then.

She was also in Mayhem which I think people liked a lot. Haven’t seen it and probably won’t unless it comes to neflix or prime.

She was also in 3 Billboards Outside Ebbing Missouri.

How is this different from knives out? Black comedy intent on skewering the rich? At least it doesn't star smarmy prick chris evans.

This isn’t that much of a comedy. It is funny at times, very funny, but this is pretty brutal too.

why does the premise of this movie sound familiar? Wasn't there another movie where they hunted a new family member?
