I really want to see this, but I'm tempering expectations. The only review so far from an outlet I respect is "fresh", but it's a C+.

It does look good. Saw the trailer last night at the movies. I'll definitely go see it.

Looking forward to it, this week. I just wish they wouldn't give away everything in the trailer. The maids' deaths look like they could be great comedic surprises, but 2 of them are dead in the red band trailer. Same for the ritual angle.

It can't be enough that they're trying to kill the bride on her wedding night? You need to tip your hand that they're doing it for some ritual/cult reason?

Save it for the ticketholders, FFS.

Aside - I need a movie where Samara Weaving and Margot Robbie play sisters. I think everyone thought this was a Margot Robbie film from first look at the trailer.

I for sure thought that was Margot gone back in time. Here’s a photo that really sells it.

I’ll make a correction though. A certain kind of video with Margot, Weaving, and prime Jaime Presley.

Just got out. The movie was such a thrill.

Imagine You’re Next with more humor, a hotter lead actress and Satanism.

I thought it was great. It was exactly what I thought it would be, and totally over the target in being preemptively aggravated that they give away too much in the trailer.

I wish there was more of Emilie the sister.

Saw it tonight. This movie will do very well, it’s a lot of fun. Tons of blood and dark humor.

I thought it was great. I will definitely watch again. I would even say this is a good horror movie for non-horror people. It was funny. As Vox had said though, I wish I hadn’t seen the trailer so many times at other movies.

Most of my issues were I just wasn’t really in a great horror movie mode. I wasn’t in a fun mood. I was in a critical thinking a-hole mood. The way the main character yelled as one example kinda was very annoying. It sounded...... too painful and distressing. Too real.

I also think j the crowd was also kinda not into it that didn’t help. Theater was sold out but the crowd fully lacked energy.

Wife and I both enjoyed it until the very end. Ending felt off though I still enjoyed it.

Kind of Cabin in the Woods meets Game Night

Looks interesting. I might go check it out this week.

Was the first one good? It looked kinda stupid, and I already got burned by the shitty shark movie with Blake Lively.

Didn’t see it lol. I accidentally picked the wrong movie theater lol. Both are kinda on my way home but with A list I just schedule movies all the time. I don’t inconvenience myself to make it

I loved the ending. I thought the movie did a really good job of keeping you guessing if the curse was real or not, until the end. It was much gorier than I expected, but a lot of it was done in a comedic way, so it didn't bother me.

Saw it today. Was one of the most fun movies I’ve seen in theaters in some time. The theater erupted in laughter several times and the gore either made you squirm a little or clap your hands and chuckle. Just a fun film and I highly recommend it.

I didn’t think it was that gory. Bloody, yes. Gory, kinda?
