you may be right about using an untraceable phone, but if Lalo and Howard are found together Kim is in deep shite. She is last known contact to Howard before he "committed suicide." If they find his body with drug lord Lalo, who authorities know was defended by Saul Goodman, they would most definitely trace this all to Kim since that is her husband. Kim would have a lot of explaining to do if these two bodies were discovered together and I believe Gene will try to persuade her to blame Saul for all of it and Saul will come out of hiding and plead guilty to everything.

No, but what legitimate option does he have in this situation? Cops would be on to Gene for cancer man's death and cops would be going after Kim bc of Howard/lalo. His only option other than going to jail would be suicide or another turn at vacuuming himself (doubt this would happen). Jimmy may not do what is right ever, but he has always done whatever it takes to keep kim safe, and turning himself in would accomplish that.

Lalo and Howard were buried under the lab below the laundry which was destroyed by the fire Walt and Jesse set. I don't really see the authorities breaking through the concrete floor to dig for things, but you never know.

I am prone to agree with this, but this burial was purposeful and very symbolic. Burying Lalo there made sense since he was already in the area, but once Howard was safely inside the refrigerator Mike could have had him buried anywhere. Lots of desert available.
It would not surprise me at all if we haven't seen the last of Lalo and/or Howard. We'll know for sure in eight days.

Maybe the ABQ "Water Works" dept has a major leak? It's a stretch...

BCS universe is nowhere near what the GoT universe was, but if they frick up this ending, lord help them.
Honestly, there are so many variations of how people want this thing to end, many folks will be disappointed anyway.

They were buried fairly deep and before the floor was ever poured so there would not be an obvious patch to raise suspicion.
I'd see it as a bit of a reach if it comes out the Feds found the bodies.

Why have Lalo recording and then show them throw the camera into the hole? As soon as that happened, I thought it was too purposeful to not come back at some point.

Everything shown on the camera is now already known regarding the lab, and the video's audience (Hector, Don Eladio, ETA and that weasel dick Bosa) are all dead.
Finding Lalo and Howard, along with Lalo's gun could be interesting (although time was spent showing Mike digging the slug that killed Howard from the wall). Howard's body falls again at the feet of Kim and Jimmy/Saul/Gene.

Both Kim and Saul are too savvy to get convicted of a murder they didn't even take part in. They could simply refuse to talk to the cops and walk.

They buried him with the other body they needed to bury, in the most secure place possible. They probably loaded that fridge up into a box truck that drove straight to the laundry completely free of suspicion. Driving out to the desert would invite so many variables and risks of getting caught. Not to mention, if the bodies are ever found beneath the lab, everything has clearly gone to shite anyway so it doesn’t matter. Leaving him anywhere else creates the possibility that the body could be found another way, and that could bring everything down.
