- i think it was a great episode
- kim was punishing herself by living in florida and letting that cad (no relation
) have sex with her.
- saul/jimmy will definitely get caught. carol burnett said "SAUL GOODMAN IS IN MY KITCHEN" and that will get out to everyone he's in Omaha so the vacuuming is for naught. just not sure who will get to him first.
- Chuck was right all along. Slippin' Jimmy has no redeeming qualities
- We were enjoying Saul & Kim's antics so much we overlooked what awful human beings both were.
- Kim's mom taught her how to scame people but when faced with a murder (Kim wasn't in that other world where Gus lived) she was so shaken that she essentially gave up.
i think its great tv.

I still held out hope for Jimmy until he found out the guy had cancer and decided to follow through.. I don't care if he dies now. He's a truly POS human now.
On the ending, I really think it will be one of those that is not defined. We'll be left with a scene that you can draw your own conclusions on what direction it goes and we'll never have closure. I hate those endings.

The Esteem shown in the outro is outside ABQ.
Is it part of a montage showing Jimmy's downfall or does he end up back in ABQ like Walt came back from NH?
I don't see any reason he has to return other than being arrested.

So it didn't bother you when they stole identities and financial information from regular people, but doing it to someone is over the line just because they have cancer?
Yikes.

Well they are implying heavily that he seeking the vacuum guy's services again, that's why he would return to ABQ. But the scene is in color. I thought the B/W was for the Gene timeline, not the Omaha location. Perhaps it's the Gene persona rather than the time. Maybe because he is the Jimmy or Saul persona to ABQ, that's why it's in color.

That's exactly what I'm hoping for. I don't want him dead. I don't want him in prison. I want him to escape to a new beginning, just like Jesse got. Of course story-wise this doesn't make sense because they make it clear he doesn't deserve another chance at a new beginning, plus if he could enter a new town acting like Saul was back, that could be a reasonable ending, but the fact is a new beginning for him means another version of Gene, and that would be a super weak ending. My desired ending, from the previous thread, was for Kim to be super bored in Florida (check), and in the end decide a toxic life with Jimmy was perferable. Well that scenario got destroyed with Kim finding a conscience.

Edit: Actually I think I better understand your post now. An ambiguous ending where he appears to be cornered, where there is a reasonable avenue of escape, but he's just as likely to get caught or killed, and they leave it there. I would be fine with that ending as well. Since he's mostly likely to be caught or killed, I prefer the ambiguity. Hmm, another ambiguous ending would be the vacuum guy agreeing to disappear Jimmy again (yes I know the actor is dead) and the last scene is Jimmy getting in a car to be driven to his new life. OK that would suck as an ending.

I wonder if the finale will be in color? Black and white has always been shown to symbolin we're in the "future"/after BB timeline after saul/gene has been vacuumed. If they've comletely wrapped up breaking bad era storylines (which is kinda seems like they have?) I'm curious if we'll get gene timelin in color.

And hey, we must give kudos to John “Emilio Koyama” Koyama.
Not only does he share his last name with his character, but Emilio is the all-time champion of length of time between appearances.
Emilio was Walt’s first kill in season one, episode one of Breaking Bad. A staggering fourteen years later, John Koyama reprises his Emilio character in the penultimate episode of the entire Breaking Bad universe, BCS’s “Waterworks.”
And yes, sometimes I feel just like Emilio: “I don’t do no paperwork.”

I hope so...the B&W has taken away from the show IMO

nice. I knew there were 2 guys in that first episode, but I only recalled Krazy-8. Did not remember that Emilio was the guy Jesse put in the bathtub.

Last night was the first time I noticed that the actor's name was actually John Koyama. For such a brief, minor character, I always remembered his name, "Emilio Koyama" because I always thought it was hilarious.

Nice observation. I can see this being true, the longest time between appearances for a character in TV history.

Saul is irredeemable at this point. Leavenworth isn't too far from Nebraska. Maybe Kim moves back there and visits him as one final frick you.

That may very well be. I’m far from an expert but I sure can’t think of another.
Now movies shouldn’t count for this, but Paul Newman’s “Fast Eddie” Felson had 25 years between appearances in The Hustler and The Color of Money.

Krazy 8 could have been one of the most unlikable and useless characters during the early parts of BB.

They've anchored Ham call out threads.
Why didn't they ban him when he was fricking up every BCS thread the past several years?

I'm in the B&W adds to the story camp.
Gene's life is dull and grey, devoid of color. And Kim's life in Florida - the hair, her clothes, her job, her boyfriend and the debate over Duke versus Miracle Whip? Her new life is no better than Gene's. She is Jane Everywoman, another Nobody. Only difference is Kim chose her prison while Gene's was chosen for him.
The B&W reinforces that. I will concede that an entire episode may be a bit too much, but still enjoy them.

After unloading her secret will Kim be able to pull herself out of her self imposed exile and get herself back into the law?
Just spitballing, but I wouldn't be surprised to see a return of the blonde power pony while Jimmy goes down.
She faced her demons and Jimmy refused to.

At one time I would’ve said she’d be representing him but I think that ship has sailed.
