destroy any credibility Ham's theories had left. Which means he will now pivot to something different and make it fit so that he can still claim partial victory
nah, VG/PG couldn't have possibly ended the theory any more burtally or specifically than they did. In fall of 2010 Kim claims they haven't spoken in 6 years, which would be before BB even took place. We have it straight form the horse's mouth that they didn't speak a word to each other during the entirety that BB aired. The only wiggle room would be if they emailed each other or wrote letters to each other but, I mean....c'mon. I truly don't think you could destroy the theory any more completely than they did.

Man for a pretend crying scene she pulled that shite out with amazing acting skills. Really felt for her......

So turns out the title of the episode had nothing to do with where Kim works...

How about I start a running list of theories as to what this episode's title refers to?
1. Space on a Monopoly board one space removed from "go to jail"
2. Kim's "sprinkler company"
3. Tears. Many, many tears.
4. "Wet works" hired guns.
5. ISZA
ETA:
6. Water works refers to sleepy time water bottle working overtime (SECClint I think)
7. Water works digs into remnants of superlab and Lalo and Howard's remains are found, or some varition thereof. (ILurkThereforeIam).
I think we can declare #3 as the winner.
Also, on a rewatch the car in the trailer for the final episode is Jimmy's old Suzuki Esteem, in the desert (see the tumbleweeds?) where he and Mike pushed it into a ravine after picking up Lalo's bail money.
2nd also - isn't rain symbolic of cleansing in literature? If so, the heavy rain in Kim's scene with Jesse after signing her divorce papers reinforces that she is done with Jimmy/Saul and moving on. Bad thing for her that the rain isn't heavy enough to wash away the guilt she carries for Howard's death.

IMO part of the reason Kim turned herself in was because her Florida life was killing her inside. There is zero chance that Kim Wexler enjoyed her life there. She was going through the motions and nothing more. And once Jimmy told her that everyone "important" was dead and gone, she finally decided to do the "right" thing. And that was partly to lift the weight off her shoulders, but also partly to get out of her boring arse Florida life.
This is what I was hinting to earlier when someone else pointed out the "Alaska" thing. They didn't show her return to Florida. They showed her get back on the shuttle heading to the airport & the "waterworks" scene, but then we only see her in the throwback scene signing the divorce papers and her interaction with Jesse.
Now I don't think she is escaping to Alaska, but I think there is a good chance she doesn't return back to Florida.

Yes it is also symbolic of Ham's tears

Skylar, Walt Jr., Holly, and Marie survived BB .
None of them were in the game...I guess Skylar was game adjacent but they explained how she got out of paying a price.

I think that was Jeffy causing a distraction so Saul could leave. What he didn’t expect, and the reason why he was jailed, is the guy who they drugged woke up and said held gotten robbed.
Jeffy leaving the scene in a hurry and wrecking plus this is why they arrested him on suspicion of burglary.
Seems like he could have just sped off and ran a stop sign for the same effect....plus the cops would have been farther from the scene of the crime.

My point is that he will move the goalposts to still claim partial victory. He's already moved to the "If you think this is the last we've seen of Kim, you are stupid.." bullshite. He even mentioned it's not the last we'll see of Kim in "the BB timeline." Well all that means is next week she can have a small scene where she comes across Walt or Jesse (again) and he would "be right" (per him).
That's what I mean. Someone as arrogant and bullish as Ham won't simply give up and admit defeat. He will do his best Slippin Jimmy impression to try to convince everybody that he was right all along about "_________" (whatever theory is the easiest to insert and defend).

There are way too many reciepts and bumpable posts for him to claim any sort of victory. He's done. Bury him with Lalo and Howard

any goalpost moving offshoots he wants to claim are fine with me but those are all secondary compard ot the main, #1 theory he's had for 6 years. There is nothing but defeat there so any other bullshite he wants to claim is irrelevant in my eyes.
I look at it like a box score of a game. Ham can try to say he had more rush yards, pass yards, TOP, etc. but when the scoreboard shows he lost 50-0 who cares about all that.

Oh I agree 100%. I'm just saying that's what I think is going to happen with him.

couldnt watch/comment live sadly bc night shift.
love the 3rd episode in a row completely shattering HS and fully solidifying J-K=S
very satisfying episode. Even tho the gene scenes can be slow the buildup of tension even in more 'boring' scenes is awesome.
Also I think kim confessing kind of had to do with feeling empty in florida. but mainly it was how kim felt about saul goodman and that she was trying to put it all behind her. she told him to turn himself in, but he mocked that notion then told her she should turn herself in. She saw not turning herself in as being like saul, so she has to turn herself in to prove she isnt like him.
I also think she could get redemption and testify against saul. she has to know he's getting wreckless/desperate by calling her and only a matter of time until he's caught.

Based on Breaking Bad ending, Saul will either go to jail or die. Don't see him dying so my guess is the cops will catch up to him and he will be in the slammer. Never could get rid of Slipping Jimmy. He is who he is. Got greedy and he shouldn't have gone back.

All the dirt she has is from during their marriage - she can’t testify against him.

I believe spousal privilege is optional. they dont 'have' to testify against each other. like the right to remain silent...you can speak they just cant make you speak.

It's nice to be back reading the episode discussion thread again. I used to join in on these until I just couldn't stand any more shitposting by Ham. Not surprised he isn't here today. LOL
I know a lot of folks have not liked the Gene episodes, and they do get a little convoluted with timelines etc. but I love them. It was good to see Kim in her new world and watching Jimmy/Saul/Gene slipping back into the con game. I think after the call to Kim - BTW love that we got the actual conversation in this last episode - something snapped in him. He was adamant about only doing that one heist at the mall then after that call all bets were off and he is full on grifting J/S again but throwing caution to the wind.
The stealing from the Cancer Guy after he had what he came for and the very uncharacteristic slip with Marion on the phone talking about Albuquerque vs. Nebraska law shows he is in damn the torpedos mode and overconfident. Maybe subconsciously wanting to get caught. This is why we love these shows.
Very depressing to see Kim in Florida. I spend the first part of that episode trying to figure out why she would put herself in such hell. Then we see it's really all just penance for her part in destroying Howards reputation and ultimately his legacy. Good for her getting some kind of closure on that. But, miracle whip guy...uggg...
The paths Kim and J/S are on after their break turn out to be polar opposites (ISZ anyone? J/K). I think Kim has always been the voice of reason with J/S and J/S gave her the excitement she craved. She's clearly not pure and all good but I think she knows where the line is much better than J/S ever did. She kept J/S in check.
Really looking forward to the finale!
RIP ISZ.

Yeah I didn't understand at first why she would make herself ugly, the hair, the outfit, the shoes, etc, but it makes sense that she wasn't allowing herself to enjoy anything, even clothes. I don't know what's going to happen next week but thinking about the show ending in black and white sucks
And Ham has probably been spending all night and all day colluding with the redditors to create some angle for why his BS still works. I know this is a message board and it's all in good fun but the guy ruined every single BCS thread for YEARS, he should either show up and take his licks or be banned from the board. JMO
