2. Spider-Man: Across the Spider Verse (9.7)

Simply the most visually impressive film I've ever seen. Incredible how advanced animation is now

That new animation looks like shite.

101. Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (5.8)

Some pretty cringey stuff in here but still entertaining
Don't overthink this - HP1 was a light-hearted movie that had some beautiful set designs and an awesome score.
quote:

84. Forrest Gump (7.1)

One of the most overrated movies of all time in my opinion.
That is certainly an opinion that I can understand but don't agree with
quote:

57. Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3 (7.9)
A solid end to Marvel's best trilogy.
Guardians 3 was easily the weakest Guardians film. Set pieces felt cheap and easy and the plot really lost its way when they went to second Earth
quote:

49. The Batman (8.1)
Good villains. Good hero. What's not to like?
The movie was about 40 minutes too long and we got the least compelling Bruce Wayne and Alfred characters in decades
quote:

46. Hacksaw Ridge (8.2)
Andrew Garfield needs to start getting credit as one of the best actors of his generation
I actually 100% agree with you on Garfield. He's starred in and done well with about any type of role you can think of and has been a big part of some of the greatest movies this generation has seen
quote:

36. Interstellar (8.4)
This movie is not totally accurate but its fun to look at from a scientific perspective
It's science fiction with seeds planted in reality. From a pure science perspective, it's one of the best-researched sci-fi movies ever considering the scope of the film
quote:

19. The Dark Knight (9.0)
Anyone who says Jack Nicholson was a better joker is only lying to themselves
Yep, Heath Ledger was easily the superior Joker and this film did just about everything perfectly.
quote:

2. Spider-Man: Across the Spider Verse (9.7)
Simply the most visually impressive film I've ever seen. Incredible how advanced animation is now
These movies are fine but the fact that they're animated takes away from the depth of the movie. It's easy to choreograph fights and put together beautiful scenes when you're using animation.

You're nuts. I'm sick of Marvel and could go a long time without watching another live action Marvel movie, but Across the Spider Verse was incredible. Extremely impressive and unique animation. Didn't know there was anybody that didn't like those films.

Idk. I went into the movie expecting no story and thought it was pretty good. Regardless, there’s nothing wrong with movies that only go for visuals

You have Home Alone 2, Bad Santa and The Social Network ranked higher than The Exorcist, The Godfather, Star Wars, Tropic Thunder, Terminator, Reservoir Dogs and Fargo.

You should never watch another movie. It's too late. There's no hope for you.

Also lol at Jason Isbell & Sturgill Simpson getting decent roles.

Sturgill Simpson was also in The Creator. He's a better actor than I would have thought.

30. Once Upon a Time in Hollywood (8.4)

This movie is the perfect balance of comedy, drama, and flamethrowers

One of my favorite all time movies, watched it 5x. How do you leave out the Pitty, c'mon man.

I know you are referencing Fargo the movie, but current Season 5 of Fargo has really redeemed the series IMO.

I liked Oppenheimer a lot, wife got bored, doubt I re-watch it.

First of all, different strokes for different folks.

Second of all, the Social Network is considered a better movie than everything you listed other than the Godfather, both by critics & fans
