1. Col. Nathan R. Jesup (A Few Good Men)
2. Melvin Udall (As Good as It Gets)
3. Joker (Batman)
4. Jack Torrence (The Shining)
5. Randle McMurphy (One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest)

Dang...top 5 Nicholson is tough. He has the best top 10 of any actor ever.

Tempted to put Chinatown...because that is my favorite movie of all time but left it off. Left off Joker because I think maybe Ledger's performance knocks it down a tiny bit.

JJ Gittes is #1 for me. But just going through his filmography, there aren't nearly as many movies of his that I really like than I thought there was.
