nah you would have loved the reddit melts or The Ringer podcasters defending her to the death

I was thinking the comment was about this board not them. Noted

Just watched Logan make Ken go to the dead kid's house. Brutal.

They’re educated retards that think they are super smart.

Perhaps you just feel your ears burning.

Enjoyed the show; never got the fascination with Shiv. She is not really attractive and borderline fat

Read my next sentence in that post. She’s unattractive and a stupid, terrible person…. But has a really nice arse in S2.

The Senate hearing was hilarious. Tom and Greg, FTW

I will say the Season 2 finale was excellent and would have been a perfect ending for the series.

None have the capacity to run a billion dollar company. Shiv would frick everything up taking the family cash cow and turn it into a worse version of CNN. Roman can talk the game sometimes but if you put ANY pressure on him he crumbles. Kendall is almost there but won't ever be fully able to handle it plus he is a complete addict.

I love the series. Well acted by everyone. Always kept me guessing who was going to frick up next.

The kids are basically Biden's kids - total losers and frick ups

Loved this show. The writing was hilarious and would take you on journeys with each character. Isn't all about the Murdoch's? Fox News/ATN. That other network they try to buy is CNN? Ravenhead is Tucker?

Season 3 Ken has surpassed Shiv in the hatred rankings. They pushed it so far it's not even funny. It's just annoying

Tom for life. One of the best comic characters ever. His synergy with Greg is apex. Their shared prison journey is just amazing. I laugh pretty much every time I see them on screen.

The shareholder meeting was great screwball comedy (except for Ken)

Tom and Greg are pretty much the only reason I was able to finish the show. Roman too I guess. But yea, that's the joke, the kids are the absolute worst.

Yeah started so strong and couldn't pull it off.

They're both SUPPOSED to be annoying and incompetent, IMO. Shiv is full blown tarded. Ken is mostly tarded but sometimes gets it right. Roman is the only one with the instincts and balls to run things, but is obviously a colossal frickup. Connor is supposed to be the personification of the libertarian party: intelligent, knowledgeable, but detached from reality and how the world actually works. He was the most qualified of the Roy kids to take over, but definitely not ideal.

Pretty sure that S3 episode 6 is where they have the big conference to choose the Republican nominee. I won't spoil it for you, but Connor would have been either my #1 or (most likely) #2 choice of the bunch. The show did a great job representing the IRL right-leaning groups with the nominees: with equivalents of Ron/Rand Paul (Connor), Tucker Carlson, and a pair of JEB! and Romney types that boomers would prefer.

Also, watch "Patriot" on Amazon if you haven't yet.

Good point about his instability. But he showed multiple times that he had better instincts than the other siblings. He wasn't just "talking game", he was legitimately competent, and I think that Logan trusted him the most in terms of business decisions. Avoiding specific spoilers, I think that Roman had the best chance to take over until he sent that one text message.

the show runner presents logan as the villain but the real villain is their mother

everything that happened to her kids was the direct result of her feckless selfishness and indifference

they were doomed when they were born to a selfish mother and a sociopath father

It’s funny comparing him and Kendall.

Kendall had complete full unwarranted confidence but absolutely terrible instincts.

Roman had fairly solid instincts but zero confidence in himself

I think you can apply this to a lot of shows that are designed to be watched weekly instead of binged. Take Sons of Anarchy for example. I started watching 2 years in and binged the first 2 seasons . I found myself asking how this much sheit could happen to one motorcycle club on the daily but then when I caught up it became easier to swallow. I think its hard to get your head around some story arcs if you don't have that week break. Same with Breaking Bad, Sopranos, etc.

Rewatching now.
One quality of this show that is criminally underrated is how the show stretches the characters, specifically the kids, from the lowest of low to high, sometimes instantly. They flux from incompetent to brilliant constantly. Pretty damn great.

Its like they're just smart enough to be absolutely moronic at times.... 100% Dunning-Kruger effect applied to the kids
