Here’s one that they would never do today. Rob Lowe in blackface the whole time. 
Nobody had a problem with it then because everyone understood it was not intended to diminish a race of people, but was a character that he was playing.
That being said, the audience shots in this one are awesome.
There’s a couple more episodes this month then the 50th special in Feb. I’m looking forward to that.

A few years back when that came out, if you took your boat out to Horn or Ship island and anchored up in the shallows (along with hundreds of other boaters) in the summer...
