I'm digging the Worf/Raffi back and forth "Beheadings are on Wednesdays"
The dialog is so much better.
Raffi is WAY better with this writing staff and is turning out to be really good with Worf.
The back and forth between Picard and Beverly about their son is really good and is good to make it apparent that both arguments make sense.
Can’t wait for Episode 4

I must have checked 5 times for a new episode. I wish I had waited before starting I like to binge.

I gotta tell ya . . .
“No Win Scenerio” is an extraordinary episode. It feels like old school TNG, with the best of the movies - and a hint of First Contact.
After going back and watching the fist two seasons, I had little hope this would be good, but tbh, I’m kinda blown away by the quality.
This is by-far (in my opinion) one of the best episodes of any Trek since TNG went off the air

Very Well said. We finally understand why Shaw doesn't like Seven of Nine and really doesn't like Picard...He's a survivor of Wolf 359 and he see's Picard as "Locutus".
We had so much good storyline going on it's hard to break down without making a lengthy post. It was just fricking great.
I will shout out Riker for his clever maneuver to escape the attack.

Yes, and I’m so glad they just didn’t throw Shaw’s character away as just being “the jerk” - which I actually expected them to do. They took the harder way.
They built some depth there. I like him - and he was an integral part in saving the ship. He figured out how to spot the changeling (with Seven) and how to manually fix the ship to get them out of there.

Sort of a play on the Commander Taggart maneuver

Here's an interesting tidbit I learned from watching "The Ready Room" post show discussion hosted by Wil Wheaton which is Todd Stashwick (Captain Shaw) character was named after Robert Shaw and his character is somewhat based on Captain Quinn from Jaws.
His magnificent speech about how he survived Wolf 359 to Picard and his son was based on Quinn's USS Indianapolis Speech:
Capin Quinn's USS Indionapolis Speech From Jaws

Can I just note that Captain Shaw said that the real Borg were still out there, who cares what happened with the Stargazer. Please tell me they’re retconning that ridiculous Borg in the Federation crap from last season.
ETA: and I figured Riker thought of that maneuver after having a ship thrown at him earlier.
Also, that scene where Jack was going to approach Picard but Picard told him Star Fleet was the only family he needed. One of the best heartstring pulling moments in all of Trek.

Problem: The ship was barely alive, all power to life support, but Picard can use the holodeck?

Watching some easter egg videos on the episode, Voyager apparently established long ago that the holodeck runs on a different power supply or something.

They explained the holodeck power supply thing during the episode. Said it was a separate independent power source.

This was addressed in the episode. Picard told Jack the holodeck runs on its own independent power source. One of the reasons is to provide the crew with a place of comfort during times of crisis.

Episode 5 Dropped: Title "Imposters"
Ro Laren returns!
I've been waiting for this reunion for a very long time. I'm going to have to watch this one a few times to take in everything that's going on.
I'm looking forward to what ppl here have to say.
This season is freaking great

This season is so cool.

I think someone mentioned it earlier in the thread but this is the TNG sequel we were all wanting when Picard first came out. The difference between this season and the first 2 has been night and day and it's been fantastic so far.

You know things are good when "Nerdrotic" likes this season because he hates everything these days.

It's amazing. If we had three seasons of this I would actually pay for Paramount instead of using a friend's password.

I’m glad today was not a good day to die

Also, Moriarty has been shown in the previews to be making a return this season. I hadn’t thought about that until Ro told Picard to get on the holodeck. I thought he was going to reveal himself then and that he was pretending to be Ro for some reason.

I don’t understand why it took 3 seasons for this type of quality tv. I didn’t pay much attention to the first two seasons and now the 3rd season has knocked it out the park, only for it to be the last season.
