I had to Google and see if RS is even still alive. I wasn't sure.

Because he disappeared for nearly a decade and didn't reemerge until the documentary aired about him being MIA.

This could be a really fun movie if they go hardcore retro 80s. I mean he was doing his workout thing in shopping malls.

Pauly has been Lobbying for years for someone to give him a shot at a more serious role, so let's see if he can pull it off. Richard Simmons guest spot on who's line is it anyway had me in tears laughing. It was so good I exclusively think of that now before all of his exercise videos. If you get a chance you should google it

I have a picture of him surrounded by exercise balls that I send to friends as a joke "dick n balls" pick.

Random shite off subject but this thread made me think of it.

A bit more to it - Simmons emerged from his seclusion to state that he never gave permission for the biopic.

Radar Online - warning, the site layout is trash

quote:

Simmons took to Facebook hours after news broke that Shore was gearing up to play the workout sensation in a feature-length film courtesy of Warner Bros. subsidiary The Wolper Organization, RadarOnline.com has learned.

"Hi Everybody! You may have heard they may be doing a movie about me with Pauly Shore. I have never given my permission for this movie. So don't believe everything you read," Simmons wrote while breaking his silence on the project. "I no longer have a manager, and I no longer have a publicist. I just try to live a quiet life and be peaceful. Thank you for all your love and support."

That's probably because he finally realized there's nothing much sadder than an old queen making a spectacle of themselves.

He should give Elton a call.

I mean, if Richard Simmons did give his approval - I'd be disappointed, dude was batshit crazy...

GARRRYY

The Missing Richard Simmons podcast is a pretty short (like 6 30 minute episodes) and worthwhile listen if you really want to go down the Richard rabbit hole.
