I’m 4 episodes in on Season 1. The dark humor is genius, but not sure it will keep my attention for much longer. I want to like it more, but I’m starting to struggle a bit.

Yea it gets a little bit better the deeper he gets in with the company but it’s never becomes a gotta watch show. I think I watched the entire season but only because I was watching it in the background.

Same thing happened on my first attempt and I left it for probably a year and then went back to it and absolutely loved it. It's an incredibly slow burn, and it's never tons of action. Once you get to know more about the lead, his father, why he's doing what he's doing, etc you enjoy simply watching him navigate the world he's in. At least I did.

That said...it ends after Season 2 and did not end the story, so if you make it that far and are going to be bumbed out by walking away form a show you probably really like by that point on a cliff hanger that will never get resolved, then keep going.

If you don't love this show, you didn't score well on standardized tests. I don't know if I would hang out with you. Cool Rick forever.

One of my favorite hidden gems. Really wish they would have made season 3. Season two get's much better than the first.

They start getting more into the music and using it to narrate the scenes a little bit more than just him singing short song about what happened a scene or two ago.

The music is one of my favorite parts. Dude is talented. I listen to the full version of 'afternoon spray' often.

slight spoiler:

The scene where he hauls that dude around on his back all day then just walks into the presentation and straight up nails it makes me laugh every time. Wonder how long it took him to learn those technical terms.

I really don't understand how this show is not more popular or mentioned in the greatest shows of all time, even if just by critics.

Same. I enjoyed the show but just kind of forgot to finish it.

His brother grew on me.

Because of the way he dressed, at first, he reminded me of the two brothers from the TV series Wayne (2019).

Or the punk, little brother who ratted out his own brother in the Showtime series City on a Hill.

Glad I stuck with it. I’m about halfway through Season 2 and I love it.

I loved the show and even though it was clearly cancelled, the season 2 ending wasn’t too abrupt, imo.
