You thought it was a redneck country boy ranch show didn’t you?

I had no idea what it was until I watched.
I continued to watch the entire 4 episodes, hoping it would get better, but it got progressively worse.
It’s like the writers only had material for one show and never expected it to go beyond a pilot.

So it confused you, did it ?
Yeah.
It's not a rodeo series.
(There are 6, not 4 episodes, btw)

I knew it was sci-fi. I was just hoping it was good sci-fi

Only 4 showed up on my app. Either way, it was awful.

Compared to most of the garbage put out by streaming platforms it’s pretty decent, especially from Amazon.

Another reason to dislike the show, Imogeen Poots looks like a young Hillary Clinton!

I don’t know what your particular situation is, but I’ve noticed, people who don’t have cable and their only options are streaming offerings, have a much lower bar for what they consider good.

What can I watch on cable that I can't watch on a streaming service?

Probably not much if you are willing to spend the money for a plethora of services. But then, that defeats the purpose of chord cutting in the first place, which was , cables too expensive.

Along with
1. Not having to have cable boxes for every tv
2. Not having to have a dish drilled to the side of my house
3. Being able to take my streaming services on vacation or other properties.
4. Can cancel with the press of a button instead of being on hold with customer service, having to mail equipment back.
5. No monthly charge for said cable boxes.
But yeah, lower cost is the only benefit...

I am glad this is not exclusive to Netflix.

It didn’t get progressively worse. It became more of what it’s meant to be. The show tries to merge two unlikely audiences although sci fi fans are less likely to be disappointed. It’s basically a twist on the old series Dallas but more blue collar and set in Wyoming. The Ewings vs the Barnes fighting for mineral rights. Now had they just copied that concept many would be happy but I’m all for trying something different and unique. And I give them credit for not trying to fool the audience too badly. They let on pretty early that one this would be different.

What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this thread is now dumber for having read it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

4 were released, then 2 more. Sounds like you're over it though.
BAD Sci-Fi is Tales from the Loop.
Outer Range has elements of a really cool story. But it's not finished, so I'm not sure how to rate it yet. I like what I've seen though.
