Orange is the New Black Season 7

I’m a couple episodes in and while they’ve always been very left leaning and such the politics in it thus far are turning me off. It’s like they did a focus group of 20 year old purple haired girls on what to lay out this season.

How can you be 7 seasons in to the show and complaining about this? It’s been like this since season one. Either watch it or don’t.

You’re right. It’s always leaked pretty heavy to the left. But I gotta say this year it’s gone to the next level. It’s little more than propaganda at this point.

Stopped watching at the end of whichever season they were in an old pool during a riot or something. Can't remember. Just remember the show was getting extremely stupid.

For all the people claiming Stranger Things was political I suggest watch this season. Now THIS show is political. It's like they took a leftist checklist and went down the line. It is hard to get through.

i actually almost made a similar thread last night
this show has sucked since season 2 but my gf watches it. the gut punch ending for the ugly latina lady last season was bad enough, but they took that pandering and shot it into the SJWisphere this season

He was in the first or second episode for a little bit with Piper. He may be in more but that’s all I watched so far. Could become a bigger part by the looks of it.
Real life Piper stayed with the guy and got married to him. So I could see them going that way.

I agree, honestly. They are hammering this ICE stuff pretty hard so far, I’m 4 episodes in.

It's always been extremely left leaning. I've gotten into some of the ICE stuff now, it's not anything worse than what they have done before. It's very within tone of the show. Oh god, they are humanizing illegal immigrants, the horror....

Agreed. I started it after finishing The Boys. Talk about different worlds...
I got a few episodes in as well and just shut it the frick off to watch Another Life. When a show that has a tranny doctor and occasional slight mentions of coastal cities that have flooded comes across as less left-leaning then you've really done something. It's a good thing it's Orange's last season.

She’s effectively not on the show anymore and the last season sucked because of it.
