I know I'm straying from the premise, but holy f*ck, was Eraserhead not the most messed up movie you can force yourself to sit through and still be engrossed in the character?

It proves that John C Reilly has true range and is one of the great american actors.



Has this movie been discussed before?

Haha. That scene always cracked me up to.

And then she asks something along the lines of, "how did you know there would be a car here to catch us?"

Those movies said "bye-bye" to reality and physics a long time ago. Went from being street racers to some sort of special forces.

The ankle breaking scene in Misery when Kathy Bates puts the 2x4 between James Caan's ankles and then whacks his feet with a sledge hammer ......

Speaking of ankles.....how about in Hostel when the kid gets both his Achilles sliced. That was hard to watch.
