You are way overestimated Will Smith peak. 6-7 years as the biggest star on the planet???

I guess the mid 90's were good to him with Bad Boys, Independence Day and Men in Black. But other than that his career has been rather consistent since then. A leading man for sure, but not the biggest star in Hollywood.

Eddie Murphy doesn't count. Eddie stepped away from the life.

Jim Carrey has to be the answer here. He was the biggest star on the planet for a while, but then he just... wasn't.

Jack Black. From Airborne through School of Rock and even Nacho Libre he was pretty hot but the only thing he's done recently is Goosebumps like two years ago.

Didn't Hamill have an accident after SW that killed his live acting momentum?

He had a car accident that made him have reconstructive surgery. He still was in a few live action movies, turns out he just wasn't that great.

Rumor has it that the Wampa scene was written specifically to explain why he looked different in Empire than in ANH.

I did not realize he stepped away. Was it before or after Charlie died?
