The gender stuff really didn't bother me.
That subplot did. Rich people profiting off war. Abused cat horses. "We have to save these cat horses!"
It didn't fit at all with the story. Either drop the necessity for a hacker or get one someone else.

Well they had the white guy filming the black guy and white girl with a google pixel. They obviously meant that as the director Rian Johnson(white guy) Finn and Rey, not as some kind of Cuck reference.

You'd think that if it were on lifetime, the voice, dancing with stars...then you run this spot. "Something inside me is now awake".
Id expect that for a more male demographic you would have the messages of "feel the power" of pixel, or some more masculine message.
