I cant teach you reading comprehension over the internet...sorry

You either are unable to comprehend what I'm saying, or you are picking and choosing snippits of what I posted to fit into your BS argument. Either way, there is no point debating people like you

A bunch of (presumably) grown men weeping over a sci-fi series. It’s pretty astounding huh. Don’t get your Wookies bent out of shape guys.

For the record i thought it was pretty good but i have no idea where the writers are going from here. I kind of wish they would wrap the story up

I’m trying to imagine being a grown man and writing a thread like this.

You don't feel threatened by the SJWs in this Star Wars movie? WTF is wrong with you?

Lets get this perfectly straight: there is absolutely nothing wrong with a movie series directed at guys, with male heroes performing extraordinary feats to defeat evil and rescue hot chicks.

But even this isn't accurate. The strongest-willed character and best leader in the OT was Leia and nobody batted an eye. This was because her character was organic, fit the narrative, and had flaws (like all the characters)

The problem isn't strong female characters. The problem is there is only one strong female character in this trilogy and her story took a backseat to make time for cardboard female characters that added little to no value to the story other than to put a feather in the cap of Disney.

Never thought I’d see a bunch of southern males celebrating the downfall of the dominant species on earth.

Believe it or not, there is still a way to close out this trilogy in epic fashion but they have to narrow the scope of the story and evolve certain characters. I was thinking about it last night and the path is still there, I just doubt Disney takes it.

Yeah, whenever people say this is just sexist against women, I have yet to hear anyone not having high praise for Rey as the protagonist. People were bitching that she's not in the film enough if anything.

I agree. They can salvage this trilogy. Just focus on the main story and the main characters - Rey, Finn, Poe, Hux, Ren. Focus the story.

Or the fact that die-hard fan boys absolutely love OT Leia

You’ve officially been turned into a cuck and you don’t even know it. You’ll be wearing skin jeans and beanie hats and glasses with no frames by next winter

Because I'm not threatened by a movie. Real men are worried about SJW themes in sci-fi movies.

That's gold.

To be fair, I don’t see many people complaining about Rey. She’s a great character that most fans seem to really like (myself included)

You should be. Because Hollywood and pop culture has somehow convinced you and many others that women are equal to men.

You know a movie when out of its way for some politics when it has a 93% critic score and a 54% audience score in today's climate.
