Did I miss it or did they address Summer Higgins from last season? The judge was supposed to reverse his decision a couple days after the sentencing. Did they ever address what John had on the judge to make him do that? I can't stand how they just forget about a storyline and expect you to not be interested.
i was thinking about her as well, as gov i figured first thing john would do is pardon her, maybe they will get around to that at some point. but they jumped ahead so maybe she is already out and all but forgotten about by the writers.
as for why the judge went along, john got him elected so he owes him loyalty

Oh and forgot to add. The Canadian border is ~300 miles from where Yellowstone ranch is supposedly.. Kayce puttin in that time.
Ha, that’s a good point. I guess they did have a helicopter there, so it’s in the real of possibility that he could have gotten home quicker.

The product placement on this show is so bad to
“Sir is that Buffalo trace whiskey you’re serving? I love that bourbon and it’s so reasonably priced”
“Yes as a matter of fact I am serving Buffalo trace.”
“Great I will have some Buffalo trace”
“Yes please give me some Buffalo trace as well, goes great with my cowboy authentic Wrangler jeans “
I'll give them some credit for this at least...
probably the most realistic scene in the entire series was when the guy showed up at the bar where Beth was sitting. He said "I'll have a beer" and the bar tender actually asked what kind of beer did he want. I don't think I've ever seen that in a show or movie before lol.

This is the future of TV advertising.

Did anyone notice the actor that plays Walker looks like he turned into a junky meth head between filming seasons? It felt as if they went out of their way to keep his face time minimal and blocked.

2. Monica is a moron and the whole wreck and lost baby is pretty much her fault. No reason to keep driving like that experiencing the issues she was experiencing
If you live near Yellowstone, why would you drive all the way to Billings when Bozeman is so much closer?

If I understand correctly the Duttons don't have a land problem they have a cash flow problem.
I think selling a helicopter would be reasonable for a farmer with cash flow issues. Are they herding with that thing?

They made a point to show her sentencing in the episode prologue where they catch you up on what happened last season. That usually suggests that something was going to happen pertaining to that story line, but they didn’t seem to mention her in either episode. Has to be coming or they would not have showed her.

I thought this show was going to suck when I saw a trailer for it. I thought it would be campy and made for 40+ year old women who sit around drinking box wine (“it’s better than you think”) in their crappy house with their high school sweetheart husband who works some shitty job, but used to be “going places” and wishes they could have married a rich cowboy.
Hmmmm...makes me wonder what kind of special guy you are. Are you going places?

As hard to believe that they had time to name the baby as it only lived for an hour and a very crazy hour at that.
They had probably already decided on his name. Also, it's not weird at all to name a baby that only lived an hour. It's still their son and they would name it. Weird to think you wouldn't name it.

Stop. He was told what would happen before and never told Beth. He knew. You are pathetic.

Now what I did find weird was Monica asking Kasey if baby could be buried at Yellowstone and he says of course.
But she wants Kasey to ask John anyway, WTF? John would never tell Kasey no on anything, that seemed strange/weird to me.

So did they not get the tags for the wolves? Otherwise I don't see how you get in trouble for killing them even with the collars. Very hard to know. I can only assume, though it wasn't explicitly said, that they never got the tags
It was said they got the tags. But the cow died from something else (later find out it poisoned water from the phone tower people) and was eaten by wolves afterward so they got tags on a false premise. An investigation could bring this fact to light. Plus killing park wolves that people follow on the newly elected governors ranch is bad PR regardless of legality. Thus, the coverup.
The show isn’t bad to me, but they have made it kind of hard to follow by introducing too many subplots and you have to pay close attention.

What I don't get is in seasons 1-4 the Native American's were all about this is our land and it should be natural. Now that John has said that is what he wants to do they are pissed at him. All because of a casino. It's hypocritical.
Don’t confuse regular Indians with the big business/political ones.

Wasn't it last season they offered John like almost a BILLION dollars for a SMALL portion of his total ranch to put the airport and resort? I mean he could've used that windfall to buy double the land and actually improve his net worth, real estate... The Duttons are about the dumbest financial minded people in Montana.
Agree here. He should have sold that portion, fixed his finances and ran for governor. Let them build the one resort so they back off and while they’re building it pass laws to protect the remaining land he has and nearby ranchers land with little pushback.

was almost a billion dollars. If you can't make money off a billion dollars then I don't know what to tell you.
You could invest that at a 5% return for 50 million a year and operate the ranch at a loss indefinitely and use the loss as a tax write off
